Education

All are welcome to join in on our educational events - all you need to do is show up!

On the 4th Sunday of every month, there is a forum following our worship service. After you enjoy a cup of coffee and a sweet conversation, return to the sanctuary. For the next few months, our forums focus on women in the book of The Acts of the Apostles, which is the 5th book of the New Testament and contains stories of the early Christian church. The forum leader is Sandy Koppen who is always thoroughly prepared and inspires lively discussions.

On the first Sunday of the month (well, except for June, when we'll meet on
June 9), we offer an intensive course on the Book of Concord, which contains basic tenets of the Lutheran perspective of Christianity. The course is co-led by Pastor Jean Lebbert and Sandy Koppen.

There is a mid-week Bible study for anyone who is able to meet on Tuesdays at 1 p.m. Each week, the study offers participants opportunity to read and discuss the scripture readings for the coming Sunday. Pastor Jean leads the study and often gleans ideas for her sermon.
